New ATC's

I've been doing alot of swaps lately,  here are two of the latest.  There has been a very popular "Book Pages" swap on www.swap-bot.com.  I've joined all three and hope the hostess posts another. 

I'm going to start a "Feathers" swap.  The card to the right is very simple, I used handmade and Nepalese papers a bird card from the 50's I believe, a book page from the 40's and a feather that I think someone sent me in a previous swap.

Photo from the 60's enhanced with a micron, collaged over another landscape photo and added doodads.  Mrs. Casey was a 1940's word game.  All on  a 4x4 wood block which you can get from Cheap Joe's.

Getting ready to hang the show tomorrow

I've been busily working preparing for the show - hopefully the snow tomorrow is not a major event.  Here is one of my pieces. Picture from the 40's, images from a See Spot Run book, a spelling book from the 1900's, embossed background, water color paper I paper pasted on and some type of a color film I got at a garage sale.  See you at the reception this Saturday 2-4 !!

Skulls

Skulls in July, usually its Christmas - but I'll go with the flow.  Here is my latest ATC (destination unknown at the moment).  Background paper from a swap colored and embossed, real flowers and fabric bow.

Travel ATC

I created a new swap based on vacations and travel.  I used a postcard posted in 1909 as the background. I think I'll do a tent on the back so the recipient can enjoy the nostalgia.   Stay tuned I'll post one of my landscapes (as requested) very soon.

Where have I been? getting ready for a show at the Peekskill Coffee House, Sharon Kullberg and I had our reception this past Saturday - thanks to all the showed up.  the show is up till 12/31 stop by and enjoy.

I'm also getting ready for another show in Dec, I'll post the details as soon as I get them.  and - - - 12/5-6 Donna Rossi and I will have a Holiday Gift show at the Brown Street Studios.  The Flat Iron gallery will be hosting 1/2 portraits by Jessica Miller, very exciting to watch - you will want to have one once you see her in action.

Finally I just got a new computer - once I figure everything out I'll be a whiz.  I'm sure I'll be up till midnite trying to get everything done and upload new images for you.
