MIDNITE HOUR

OK, I'm back from CREATE an art retreat where I met some wonderfully talented people (check out Cathy Bluteau's website  http://cathyb.typepad.com/ ) Cathy's color sense is spot on, look at out her Etsy site too.

I got to take a class with Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, I was really looking forward to this and she didn't disappoint.  She presented an ambitious book design, we worked hard, learned alot and came away with new skills and a finished product.  I really have to win lotto so I can CREATE all day long! I'm stoked, so many ideas now, so many skills to hone.

(The next retreat I'm headed to in October is Art-Is-You in Stamford, CT.  I'm still deciding on classes..I am looking forward to Serena Barton's take on Encaustic portraits though.)
